Terrace Estate is a legendary tea estate spread across 1,200 pristine acres in the heart of the Nilgiris, just 8 km from Naduvattam village, Tamil Nadu. Of this vast landscape, 625 acres are devoted exclusively to tea, supported by an in-house factory equipped to craft Green Tea, Orthodox Tea, and rare Specialty Teas with uncompromising precision.

Our story began over a century ago. Between 1910 and 1920, Terrace Estate was planted under the stewardship of Brooke Bond Limited, using carefully selected hybrid cultivars that combined the boldness of Assam teas with the finesse of China teas. By the 1960s, the estate had earned its place among South India’s finest tea estates, commanding premium prices and a reputation for consistently exceptional quality.

What truly sets Terrace Estate apart is its extraordinary location. Nestled at elevations ranging from 6,500 to 7,500 feet, on the northwest-facing slopes of the Nilgiri hills, the estate lies entirely within the Mukurthi Wildlife Reserve—one of the most untouched ecosystems in the region. Here, tea grows surrounded by forests, clear mountain air, and pure natural watercourses that flow across the land.

Gentle slopes, mineral-rich soils, abundant natural water, cool temperatures, and rainfall nourished by two monsoons create the perfect environment for slow, healthy leaf growth.
